Welcome to Crank
Hi! - We're Mollie & Rob.
Crank Studios owners, managers and tutors. Welcome to our studios.
We've created this business in the heart of Morley to fill the void in the arts within the community.
To create a safe, clean and exciting place to come and let your creativity loose.
Whether that's to come and learn or improve on an instrument or how to sing, run your business from our venue, hire our studios for an event or join in on some of the amazing group sessions ran by ourselves or the schools that operate here.
Have a look around to see what's on offer here and get in touch today to enquire about booking any of our rooms or activities that we have going on for you.
If you wish to use our space outside of the opening times listed, let us know & we can look to accommodate you.
If we do not answer the office phone, you can contact us at 07432 230546 or via our 'contact us' page or our social media.

Our Story

Hi - We are Mollie & Rob. Partners in both life and business. Here we are picking up the keys to the studio back in February 2020. We thought we'd take this opportunity to introduce ourselves.
We met in 2015 when we appeared in a musical together, eventually ending up in a band together in the summer of 2016. Our story really begins there.
We are both professional performers and tutors, Mollie with her background and degree in acting and musical theatre and Rob with his in popular music and technology. We have performed up and down the UK as part of musicals, bands, duos and as soloists and Rob also as a sound engineer, technician and DJ.
Mollie used to run her events company from 2016-2020, which provided performers and staff to events and venues. As well as creating themed seasonal events, kids activity classes and bespoke shows such as Christmas pantomimes.
Rob used to run his music education and tech company 2015-2020. Providing audio-visual equipment and technical support to events, venues and recording projects, as well as offer music lessons.
Our two companies eventually grew to a level large enough to warrant a shared premises late 2019. Then we found what has become Crank Studios.
In February 2020 we were not expecting the events industry to crash, so we had to think and adapt fast. After a few months of lockdown we had created our new plan, solely focussed on Crank Studios as a business in its own right.
With a lot of elbow grease, paint, DIY skills and some fantastic support from our friends and family managed to open. So welcome to Crank Studios! Music school, studio and shop with room hire and events.
We opened these studios for the local community to let their creative juices flow. To train, rehearse and perfect their skills in whatever they do. Be it dancing, singing , acting or playing a musical instrument. We're here to host your business, rehearsals and events, hiring our spaces to you or to teach you what you want to know. It's taken years of training and experience within our industry to get to own our own premises. We look forward to welcoming you in.
See you at Crank.
